How to Quit Shampoo For Hydrated Natural Curls

Product Review (submitted on June 17, 2018):
I tried deva curl back in 2009 and though it made some difference in my hair, I wasn’t sold on it so I kept flat ironing and damaging my hair - assuming I was convinced to a life of “bad curls.” Cut to this year, I finally grew tired of being jealous of all the curly girls on IG with their popping curls. I decided to commit to the curly lifestyle at the end of April. One thing I noticed all the curl influencers have in common is that they use deva curl. I was reluctant to try it because I didn’t think it would have a major impact on my hair given my previous experience, but booooy was I wrong. I bought this exact kit and used it the very next day. After cleansing & conditioning, I used the Super Cream, then followed it up with my leave in, another cream, and my gel. OHMYGOD. My curls almost instantly lost all their frizz. I was convinced this was too good to be true so I waited until it completely dried before I got too excited. I cannot say enough about the decadence line. I FINALLY have the shiny, bouncey curls all my curl heroes have!! I truly did not know my hair was even capable of looking like this. I finally realized that all those years ago when I first tried deva curl, I wasn’t apply the product correctly and wasn’t using the curly girl method. Now that I know what I’m doing, I’m going back to buy the decadence leave in, the gel, plus Melt into Moisture and Deep Sea repair. I am a deva girl for life! Everyone looooves my new curls way more than my straight, damaged hair. So do I!
