There was some sort of miscommunication, and my stylist didn't realize I was there for a DevaCut, so I was sent to get my hair washed with what I shortly realized were not DevaCurl products. And I couldn't quite enjoy the head massage because I was so confused as to why my hair was getting washed before the cut! (It was my first DevaCut, so I was doubting what I had read about them.) Once I got back in the chair, I asked about dry cutting as part of the DevaCut, and my stylist quickly apologized and tried to correct the mistake. The assistant diffused my hair so it could be cut as close to fully dry as possible. The stylist still gave a tutorial on how to use the DevaCurl products, and I did learn a couple of new tricks. I let my hair air dry, and the cut wound up fine. I certainly appreciated the effort to correct the mistake and that I was only charged for a regular, cheaper haircut. Overall, this is a nifty salon with a good vibe and kind staff, but I look forward to getting a true DevaCut next time.
