After making the decision to stop straightening my curly hair, I sought out Lucky 13 after hearing great reviews regarding their curl knowledge. I walked in with high hopes, and walked out with a stringy, choppy, and EXTREMELY embarrassing hair cut that will now cost me more money to correct than the actual price of the original cut. Please remove them from your list of reputable Deva Curl stylists. My stylist had zero experience with curly hair, didn't give me any training on Deva Curl products and styling tips like I had paid for with my appointment, and washed and conditioned my hair with a non-Deva Curl product that completely stripped my curls. I now have to completely start over in my progress. I am devastated.

I have never been the one to spend a good amount of money getting my hair cut. Having curly hair it made it difficult to ever like my hair once I got it trimmed. Most places took too much off or my hair/curls seemed so much worse after. I went to Lucky 13 to get my hair trimmed (and to figure out how to manage these CRAZY curls lol. I was so nervous that I actually cover my face a few times when mark was trimming my hair. After it was all said and done I was completely in love with my curls. I couldn't ask for a better stylist to do my hair. Mark was AMAZING and he took his time with me and talked me through everything. I love my curls more now than I ever have before and I now have a better understanding of my curls than when I walked through that door. Not to mention the DevaCurl products smell SOOO GOOD!!!!!!
