My go to stylist. My hair (4a/4b) has seen so much progress since I started going to her. She is very knowledgeable about products and hair methods. The salon is very nice and has a nice atmosphere every though its small. All appointments are booked online and she does not accept walk-ins.

Ms. maxine does a great deva cut I had no issues with her and she used decurl products . Everyone loved my big chop . i loved it to . She did a great job . She has since moved from remesen .She charges same price as devachan salon .

The stylist exploits her good reviews, but her bad ones don't often come to light. She cut more hair off than I approved her to. She stated that she'd trim an inch and a half, but she cut at least 3 inches off my hair. Even after I told her that I follow the curly girl method she washed my hair with hot water, sulfate shampoo and used sillicone heavy products in my hair. I requested the deva cut, but she gave me her best guesstimation cut. I paid actual money for for a self absorbed, rude stylist's no good expertise. Set an appointment with her and you'll wait forever.. if you're lucky 45 minutes. I know a former client who waited two hours. You might as well walk in. Her clients will assure you she's amazing and she soaks up the praise but does not accept the criticism. She values your pocket more than her craft or your experience.
