I got my first Devacut last week from Amanda. I am a white woman with fine, curly hair. In the past, every salon I’d been to cut it wet, pulled taut and there was a 50/50 chance I’d look like frizzy Hermione or Alice from Dilbert after it dried. The Devacut was everything I hope it would be, it brought back volume at the top and my curls aren’t weighed down anymore, and the frizziness is gone! Although I’ve used Devacurl products for years and own a Devafuser, I’d been using them all wrong and still managed to look frizzy. Amanda washed my hair after cutting it dry and taught me how to properly use the No Poo, One Condition, Supercream and Light Defining Gel that I already owned but in the right way! I have gotten more compliments and “WHAT DO YOU DO TO GET YOUR HAIR TO LOOK LIKE THAT?!” Comments on my curls in the past week than I have in my entire life.
