I have had a DevaCut by Ellen twice now, and I'm so glad I found her. She takes the time to listen to my hopes and dreams, and then shares her expertise on my curl pattern to formulate the best possible style. She even helped me rock curly bangs for the first time since third grade! She cut my hair dry, used Deva products (after asking me where I was at in my wash cycle and what I usually use at home), and styled my hair using easy-to-replicate techniques. I leave each visit with more knowledge and confidence with my curls.

Went to see Ellen for my first DevaCut last week and had the best experience. I could not be happier with the entire visit. She was so thoughtful in the cut and gave me truly the best haircut of my life and as someone who is new to embracing her curls she gave me tips and tricks on how to style and care for it at home! I will certainly be a regular and couldn't recommend her enough if you have curly hair!

After reading two five star reviews, I was more than thrilled to book Ellen for my first DevaCut. What I got was absolutely NOT a DevaCut. Sparing the horrifying details (hot water, towel dry, no leave-in product), I’ll simply say Ellen cut my hair while wet, claimed my hair wasn’t “actually curly” (I walked in with beautiful curls), and proceeded to use a curling iron on my hair without any product to protect from heat damage. I was absolutely mortified with the final result. I will never see Ellen for DevaCut again and will encourage others to go elsewhere.
