Should not be listed as Deva Curl stylists

Had a consult with a stylist who straightens her curly hair. Enough said!

If only a stylist would listen

On my first visit I was told that I really need to chop my curls to give them proper shape for future growth. Fine. It was never dry-cut before, so it made sense. I struggled with the shorter style that I didn't like, but it was a sacrifice for a proper curly style. On my second visit, I asked that only the very minimum is taken off.. I walked away with an even shorter style than six months prior. For anyone with curls, you know how difficult it is to grow them out. I'm never coming back.

A terrible cut

About a year and a half ago I went to get a Devacut with Ofelia. Once I got there she sat me down and started brushing my hair while it was dry. Then she started cutting the hair but also putting other products that aren't curly girl friendly on my dry hair. Then after she cutted my hair she took a curling iron and started curling my naturally curly hair. After she was done she brushed it out with a paddle brush. Then after she gave was starting to give me products by Oribe. I even asked her "Shouldn't I be getting DevaCurl products?" She told me that DevaCurl products wouldn't work for my hair. I paid up to $500 just for her to mess with my hair and get products. She didn't even wash my hair after. Once I got home I washed my hair with the products she gave me and it made my hair very dry and frizzy.
