huetiful salon

I originally tracked down Huetiful for my mom who's was newly natural and needed a stylist. When I took her for her first consultation I was impressed how they helped her envision how her hair could be styled but the end of the consultation the stylist looked at me and asked me if I'd thought about going natural too and gave me encouragement to think about it. Thing is I had been thinking about it but never took the leap but after that visit I felt empowered to finally do it. I transitioned for about 9 months going to Huetiful periodically for their Nano treatments and getting twist outs and advice on how to nurture my hair while in this transition phase. When I finally big chopped I did it myself and scheduled a Deva Cut at Huetiful (every YouTube video under the sun shows a shell shocked women in the chair & I wanted my full attention on my DC process). Once in the chair for my Deva Cut I was nervous but felt completely taken care of by my stylist. I walked away with an amazing cut and a new found sense of curly pride! Huetiful is pretty pricey but their stylists are top notch and more than qualified.
