I went to the salon super excited to finally get my first deva cut. I did not get a dry cut. My hair was washed with deva curl products and cut wet. I was educated about deva curl and how to apply product. But when the stylist “styled” my hair with sprits of beleave in product and diffused my hair was dry, stingy and frizzy. Not only did I not get a deva cut i also did not leave with a curly style. I was still charged the devacut price. I explained to the stylist when I add product and diffuse my hair there is a cast and the cast need to be broken, the stylist stated,” I always wondered how they got the curls like that.” In the end the comment I received from the stylist was “well I guess when you don’t have curly hair, you just don’t know.” The salon was clean and the staff was super friendly. I wish I did get an actual deva cut experience.
