The very first time I stumbled upon this salon I was warmly greeted by Andrea and another stylist. I had only come in to get my hair washed and styled. I was impressed by the great hospitality but even more impressed with the way Andrea handled my head because it is sensitive due to a surgery. I have never left a salon feeling that great and knowledgeable about how to style and care for my curls. Soooo, I had no choice but to schedule an appointment for a devacut. Then another.....and a few more! This review has been a bit overdue because I have currently gotten 3 devacuts and several deva 3 steps from Andrea. Her energy and "scissorhands" has brought life into my curls. She is highly talented and definitely a great asset to Hype Salon. They definitely are with the hype!

I love Hype Salon and Andrea. She did an amazing DevaCut on my hair. She revived and revitalized my natural curls while giving me amazing definition. Insightful and educated when it comes to curly hair, I felt very confident in my choice of salon and stylist. I’ll be back for a routine appointments!
