I started with Teresa who moved and switched to Alana and am very happy she took over. She spends lots of time and listens and makes the small and big changes I ask her to do. She is young and vibrant and gives great advice. She also takes care of both my college age daughters. Love her and highly recommend her for curly cuts and color.
Won't Return Calls Or Book Appointment
I started going to the Tiger Tail salon when Teresa Larkin worked there, and she was AMAZING. After she retired I saw her replacement, Alana VanDon, once. She was okay, but not as great as Teresa had been. I recently decided to give Alana another shot, but after leaving multiple voicemails over the course of a few weeks, she never called me back to schedule an appointment. I called the salon directly twice to verify that she was still seeing clients, and they were helpful and apologetic and promised to get in touch with her on my behalf . . . . but after a month of trying to make an appointment with no calls back I finally gave up and found a different salon to try. Her price is the lowest I found for a DevaCut in the area, so if that's a factor you should certainly give Alana a shot and see if perhaps it's just ME that she won't return calls from. But if you really are serious about scheduling something, I'd go elsewhere.

Teresa Larkin was just amazing. She knew exactly what to do with my hair and gave me the right cut while patiently explaining the process of styling. Wish I had found her sooner. Having many more good hair days now.
Fell in love with curls!
My first time getting a devacut by Teresa and I was WOWED by how amazing my curls looked and felt afterwards. I was not sure if I was going to be satisfied because I've had my haircut before at other salons and it was horrible. Teresa was definetly not like any other hair dresser. She did exactly what I had in mind and taught me so much about how to treat my curly hair and I'm so happy I found her! It was definetly worth the 2 year wait!
